Thanks to our volunteers and financial support from the public-at-large,
the Thurston County Humane Society is able to:
- Spay/Neuter Voucher Program - Assist by paying to have dogs and cats spayed or neutered by participating veterinarians. Our voucher program focuses on helping people with a low income spay or neuter their cats and dogs.
- Nomadic Neuters Program - mobile MASH (Mobile Animal Sterilization Hospital) clinic run by Pasado's Safe Haven in partnership with the Thurston County Humane Society, providing 40 cat spay/neuters per clinic for rescues and animal welfare organizations to help get adoptable cats into loving homes faster.
- Pet Food Donation Program - Donate large quantities of pet food to the Thurston County Food Bank for people and their pets in need.
- Joint Animal Services Partnership - Cooperate with Animal Services as a member of the Joint Animal Service Commission to stay attuned to shelter needs, and also utilize their assistance in the administration of our voucher program.
