Thanks to our volunteers and financial support from the public-at-large,
the Thurston County Humane Society is able to:
- Spay/Neuter Voucher Program - Starting January 1, 2025 the Thurston County Humane Society is pausing our spay / neuter initiative as we re-evaluate how we go forward with this program. All current spay / neuter vouchers which have already been picked up at Animal Services will be honored through their expiration dates. Our goal is to have the updated spay / neuter assistance program back in place later in 2025. UPDATES TO THIS SUSPENSION WILL BE PROVIDED HERE AND ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLAFORMS. Assist by paying to have dogs and cats spayed or neutered by participating veterinarians. Our voucher program focuses on helping people with a low income spay or neuter their cats and dogs.
- Pet Food Donation Program - Donate large quantities of pet food to the Thurston County Food Bank for people and their pets in need.
- Joint Animal Services Partnership - Cooperate with Animal Services as a member of the Joint Animal Service Commission to stay attuned to shelter needs, and also utilize their assistance in the administration of our voucher program.
