Neuter Program

Thurston County Humane Society recently put together a neuter program to support low income pet owners in Thurston County. We are starting with feline neuters, then will look to start offering feline spays and eventually canine spay and neuter services. We are excited to be able to provide this opportunity to members of our community and help with promoting responsible pet ownership.
Our first event was hosted on April 18. 2026 where:

  • 25 cats were neutered
  • 24 rabies vaccines were administered
  • 15 Revolution doses were applied (flea medication)

Our next event will be on June 6, 2026 at South Bay Veterinary Hospital. Please see our upcoming events page for details and information to sign up!
